A Country Man in the City
A Wang is a poor, unemployed young man from a village. He meets Xiaomei, a wealthy woman from the city, online, and they develop a romantic relationship. Afterward, A Wang travels to the city to meet her. On the first day, Xiaomei takes him to a beauty salon, where he gets scammed out of 60,000 dollars—only to realize that it was a setup by Xiaomei. Struggling with his unlucky fate, A Wang leaves Xiaomei and ends up in a cybercafé where he gets involved with money laundering. Later, he encounters a car accident while delivering food. Will A Wang manage to escape danger and turn his life around in the city?
