Eventually, A Ruo's true identity is exposed, and she forces Shen Jing to consummate their relationship to cure her poison. Shen Jing uses the Divine Demon Sword to kill A Ruo and then uses the Life-Linking Technique to save Ye Qingwu, but she loses her memory and becomes an innocent young girl.
